Birch Tree Communities is the largest therapeutic communities provider in the state of Arkansas and a leader in residential care for adults living with serious and persistent mental illness.
We operate 12 branches providing care for approximately 400 members of Birch Tree Communities.
We provide a full range of therapeutic community services to our members.
We accept referrals meeting certain requirements from a wide range of sources.
We integrate artistic experience into the mental health recovery process.

Dr. Brad Holloway, Chief Executive Officer of Birch Tree Communities, has been elected President of the Arkansas Council for Behavioral Health. His two-year term began on October 2, 2025.
We are excited to share some fantastic news: the Birch Tree Communities Expressive Arts Program has once again been selected as a recipient of the Arkansas Arts Council’s Community Arts Project Grant for Fiscal Year 2026!
